At first, it was called as Bloomberg Information TV. The channel works for Bloomberg L.P. The station was established on Jan 1, 1994 in the USA. Its headquarter is situated in NYC, Hong Kong, London and Mumbai. The transmission of channel is controlled by Justin Smith (the CEO of Bloomberg Media Group) before that it was lead by Andy Lack.

It gives studio amenities and for Charlie Rose, WENT program. It telecasts globally. It was available in France, Germany and Spain on March 9, 2009, and now it is accessible throughout the whole Europe as well. The name Bloomberg TV was acquired by the station in 1998. In 2011, they developed a handsome relationship with Gas Station TV for business news and personal finance program to give greater than 27 million audiences in one month at GSTV pumps. Bloomberg TV blocked few international changes of the station in Feb 2009 and targeted more international Bloomberg station. They made use of their production teams in America, Europe and HongKong. It telecasted programming in early morning, late morning and in the afternoon from Hong Kong, London and from America, respectively.
