In the field of art, there are very limited female artists. Helen Bradley was a British artist of the early 20th century. She is famous for her oil paintings depicting the Edwardian Era. She took birth in the year 1900 in a village of England named Oldham. She studied Art but she never thought of pursuing art as a profession until the 1960s. She created a female character named "Miss Carter" who appeared in many of her paintings wearing a pink dress. This female artist started gaining popularity in 1965 after her paintings were showcased in multiple galleries in the United States of America and England. This multi-talented artist died in 1979.

• Career- Helen Bradley created the paintings of her Edwardian Childhood when she was a grandmother. She tried to show her granddaughter how life was for her when she was just a kid. This British artist mostly painted landscapes with oil colors. In the year 1971, a publishing firm named Jonathan Cape published a book depicting the Edwardian childhood of Helen Bradley. This publishing firm launched four books of this series and the first one was "And Miss Carter Wore Pink". This book makes her popular overnight all over the world. The second and third books are "Miss Carter Came with Us", 1973 and "In the beginning,' said Great-Aunt Jane", 1975. The final book was launched only a year before her death. It was named "The Queen Who Came to Tea". In the year 1978, she was appointed as honorary MBE. She appeared in several television shows and on BBC radio. 
• Artworks- She painted the northwest part of England in many of her landscape paintings." Winter Snow" is one such painting made by her. Other paintings depicting her childhood memories are "Parrot in a cage", "Hollinwood market", "Lady in yellow dress", "a family walk", "Misty November", "on a warm spring afternoon", "hurrying summer" etc. The last two decades of her life were pretty active and she participated in many art exhibitions. Apart from painting, Bradley was also skilled in jewelry art and embroidery designs.
