  •  Mind your landing - if landing your foot, pointing at the plate, is a 90 degree angle, land your foot, pointing at a 75 degree angle. This will help you get your body into a power position- the position in which your legs are fully extended with your hips and arms still closed.
  •  Let the “ball” glide off your wrist - Always remember, when releasing the ball, your wrist should not glide the ball. Snapping your wrist can cause injury. Instead. the ball should glide off your wrist, finishing with your wrist fully flexed. Extend your arm as far you can and allow your back leg to lift up from the forward momentum.
