If their medical condition is permanent in nature but they are still able to work partially, in those case they can get permanent partial disability benefits.
Death
If an employee dies due to a grave injury or illness, workers compensation will take care of the burial and funeral expenses. Not only that, the program will also pay money to the deceased’s family or dependents. If the employee didn’t have any relatives or dependents, then in those cases, only funeral and burial expenses will be taken care of.
