7 mistakes using a tampons

· You don’t wash your hand first :
It is healthy to wash your hand first inserting the tampon. It helps to prevent contaminating your on its way towards the vagina.
· You do not put the tampons far enough :
You will know it because you will feel it. Else you might feel the cotton edge at the entrance of the vagina. You shouldn’t feel anything if it is perfectly positioned.
· You change your tampons once in a day:
Even if you have a light flow you should change your tampon in time. It,s better to change your tampon in every 4 to 8 hours. Moist tampon is the home of bacteria. Bacteria loves that warm and cozy area. It will increase the chances of having TSS if you don’t change your tampons in time
· Using scented tampons:
Scented tampon is not healthy. They use chemicals to create that soothing smell. Sometimes you might feel irritation and itchy. Using unscented product is healthier.
· Using traditional tampons:
A lot of woman use traditional tampons. They don’t even check the reviews of that product. l tampons review are healthier than the traditional ones. They use natural cotton so there is less chance of getting infected. Before using a tampon everyone should check the tampon review.
· Using tampons to stop discharge :
Discharging during cycle is natural and normal. You should not plug it in to stop that natural discharge. It is normal to have a discharge in the middle of your cycle. By plugging in a tampon only makes it a sweet home for the bacteria. Even if you have heavy discharge you should not do it. You better consult your doctor if the discharge is excessive, don’t just cork it.
· You don’t change it after swimming:
When you take a dive it takes a dive with you as well. Pool water contains chemical and often makes you feel itchy. So you should change it as soon as you can after swimming.
