  1. Go to Menu | Systems | System tree

  3. Tap on Actions | Agent | Deploy Agents

  4. Now you have to click on the agent version from the drop-down list

Choose an appropriate agent version from your list. Make sure you are installing a signal agent version on your Operating System. In case, you want them for multiple Operating Systems then you have to install agents one by one on every OS. 

  1. Click on Install systems that don’t have agent managed by this ePO server

  2. Now you have to enter your credentials

  3. Enter your Username

  4. Type your Password

  5. Retype your password for confirmation

  6. Click on remember my credentials for future button

In case you don’t want to get the default then enter the number of attempts, retry interval and abort after options from the screen. 

Steps for getting VirusScan for Linux

  1. Go to System Tree button and click on the group where you have installed your Linux system

  2. Hit the Assigned Client Task button

  3. Go to Actions

  4. Tap the New Client Task Assignment button

  5. Choose McAfee Agent from the Product tab

  6. Choose Product Deployment from Task type

  7. Click on POC-Deploy VirusScan for Linux button from Task name

  8. Hit the Next button

  9. Now from the Schedule page;

  10. Toggle schedule status to Enable

  11. Toggle schedule type to Run Immediately

  12. Hit the Next button

A summary page will appear on the screen; hit the Save button. Now your McAfee has installed on your Linux device.
