Motorcycle lubrication

The importance of having a properly lubricated motorcycle is sometimes overlooked and we do not realize that weather conditions, especially in a country like Bangladesh, expose our motorcycles to many elements that can harden some components or controls and that these later give in to wear. External parts that require lubrication

All the moving parts or actuators of the motorcycle require some lubricating element to function properly and at the same time, have a longer life. A great example, which is one of the most forgotten, is that of the whips, whether they be from the motorcycle brakes or the clutch. Keeping the brake levers and clutch well also help you enjoy your bike more. This is how this maintenance will not allow a motorcycle to be devalued in such an accelerated way.

According to the component that you need to lubricate, it is the material that you must consider for it. For example, chassis grease, CV joint grease, or multi-lithium grease are great products for parts that are exposed to the elements and dirt, as well as forks or even some suspension elements.

When we try to keep the stubs, loosening everything is a great option, just like for components that have damage or are exposed to rust like screws.

The chain is a part with which we have to be very careful; We should not lubricate it with loosen everything, because this product will not last as long on it. Look for specialized fats or in your case, a high-temperature benthic, since it will not drain and will give a lot of resistance against the weather.

Prevention with washing

One way to prevent the accumulation of harmful elements for the motorcycle is to keep it clean. In this way, nothing will stick, but be careful: many lubricants and greases will also be removed, so you will have to apply them again.

This lubricant and grease wear can be reduced by using engine- friendly soaps or solutions, as they contain fewer chemicals, which typically remove lubricants from parts.

Internal systems

The internal systems, which are not exposed, but receive a high load of friction and temperature, require a different and constant lubrication. The motorcycle engine requires its lubricating oil in the case of a 4-stroke motorcycle and a different one in the case of a 2-stroke motorcycle.

In a 4-stroke motorcycle we must be careful with the type and size of the engine since despite operating in a very similar way, the use they are given can be synonymous with a variation in the type of lubricating oil they need. That is why there are products specifically designed for all types of motorcycles.

As for the gearbox, a specialized transmission fluid is required for the best performance. Although not very common, motorcycles with automatic transmissions are the ones that require the most amount of automatic transmission fluid, as they operate in much the same way as a car transmission.
