What’s the Best Cannabis Vape Pen in the UK?

A cannabis vape pen is a device designed specifically for being able to vape thicker cannabis distillates and oils. In the UK, it is illegal for any cannabis product to contain more than 0.3% THC meaning that the majority of cannabis products in the UK are more likely to be derived from hemp rather than marijuana since the amount of THC contained is zero to negligible and so the dominant cannabinoid is CBD. So when we are talking about a cannabis vape pen in the UK, what we are really referring to is a device that is able to vape high concentration CBD, meaning that when we are researching a cannabis vape pen this is interchangeable with a CBD oil vape pen. 

So what is so different about a cannabis vape pen to other vaping devices? Why is it that CBD vape oils or distillates require a specific type of vape pen? There are two main types of cannabis vape liquids that you can vape in the UK - cannabis e liquids and cannabis vape oil - again, in both situations, in the UK, we really mean CBD e liquids and CBD vape since they are derived from hemp extract in order to be compliant with regulation. CBD e liquids are made from the same liquid base as traditional vaping liquids - a mixture of PG and VG - with the only difference being that instead of nicotine (if used) the PG and VG mix is blended with hemp extract and terpenes for cannabis flavouring.  This means that CBD e liquids are able to use the same vaping hardware as non-CBD vapers. CBD vape oil though does not use this same liquid base and is instead just hemp extract and terpenes - nothing else - no cutting agents such as PG, VG, PEG and MCT!  So the CBD vape oils are a lot more concentrated than CBD e liquid and so vaping CBD vape oils or distillates is really the most natural way to vape CBD. But, as they are so much more concentrated, the oil is a lot more viscous than an e liquid and so requires a more powerful vaping device to heat it up. This is why we have vape pens specifically for CBD oil vape. 

So what’s the best CBD vape pen for sale? The great news is, even though it sounds like you need something more robust, you can still get a cheap vape pen in the UK that has all the functionality you need. So, thankfully, you don’t have to break the bank for a more natural vape experience :)  I have tried a few in my time, but recently came across a new brand - Paso. They have a 510 thread cannabis vape pen that is under £20! It also looks like it should cost a lot more - it comes in silver with their logo engraved on the end. The other great thing about their vape pen, it does not limit you to just vaping CBD oil. It can be used for both CBD e liquids AND CBD vape oil. Why? Their pen is variable voltage meaning you can switch between voltage settings to get the right temperature for the type of liquid you are vaping or just to suit the vaping experience you like. It also has a pre-heat function so that you can heat up the thicker CBD vape oil before you vape!  So a pretty good cheap vape pen option whilst still being great quality!
