Ingredients used for this recipe:
500 grams of chicken breast, 2 tablespoons oil, garlic, minced 5-6 ginger cloves, minced 1 inch ketchup 2 tablespoons chili sauce 2 tablespoons salt to taste, cornstarch / 1 tablespoon cornstarch, red pepper , 1 tsp, 2 eggs, 1/4 tl MSG, 2-3 shallots.
Preparation method for Singapore chili chicken recipe:
Cut the chicken into one- to one-half-inch pieces. Heat a frying pan with oil, add the minced garlic, ginger and fry for two minutes. Add the ketchup, hot sauce, and half of the mixture. Add a cup of water and mix.
If mixture boils, reduce heat and simmer for 5-10 minutes. Meanwhile, removing chicken pieces in a bowl. Add the salt, the rest of the chili sauce, the cornstarch, the red pepper, crushed in half and mix well. Add the whole egg and mix well.
Heat enough oil in the wok and fry the chicken pieces and make sure they are not overcooked.
Fry over high heat for 02:58 minutes in color. Drain on paper towels. Add the remaining salt and crushed red pepper sauce and mix well. Add the MSG and cornstarch mixed with water.
Cook, stirring, until sauce thickens. Arrange on a plate with the fried chicken. Add the eggs.
Remove the sauce from the heat and gradually add the beaten egg flow. Mix gently and pour over the fried chicken. Garnish with green onions and serve hot.
