Cricket World Record- James Anderson takes 600 wickets in Tests Cricket as first

On the fifth day of the third and final Test of the series against Pakistan, England's experienced fast bowler James Anderson made a rare example. He became the primary fast bowler within the history of Test cricket to require 600 wickets. According to the Anandabazar Patrika, He set this record by dismissing Azhar Ali today. Anderson is now fourth on the list of highest wicket-takers in Tests. he's followed by Anil Kumble, Shane Warne, and Muttiah Muralitharan. 

Anderson had taken 593 wickets before playing this Test. He took 5 wickets with 56 runs within the first innings. He then lbw Abid Ali first within the second innings. England captain Joe Root helped him with a catch on the primary slip for the 700th wicket. Anderson took 600 wickets within the 156th Test. Former India captain and leg-spinner Kumble took 619 wickets in 132 matches. Former Australian leg-spinner Warne took 607 wickets in 145 matches. Former Sri Lankan off-spinner Muralitharan tops the list with 600 wickets in 133 matches.

Anderson made his Test debut on 22 May 2003 against Zimbabwe. He has been playing for quite 18 years. This fast bowler has brought tons of success to England. he's currently one among the simplest fast bowlers in world cricket. Besides bringing success to the team, he has also set a private example.
