There was once...

Once upon a time there was a small town with people who lived differently from the rest of the world. They made sure that no one found them, which should actually be difficult, since it is hardly possible nowadays to live unnoticed by other people. The city dwellers, however, were helped by the fact that they were inconspicuous people, people who were hardly noticed in the rest of the world.

They were more introverted, thought in advance before they said or even acted, and looked after those around them who were not doing as well as they were. It was so unusual that those who heard about this city thought they were being told nonsense. "That's one of those fake news again," they shouted indignantly. "What kind of bear do they want to untie you?" And so the people of this city mostly stayed to themselves.

If a man or a woman got lost in their city and wanted to stay, then they asked about their motives and if these seemed understandable to them, then they found them a place to stay and work regardless of their nationality, religion, gender or their sexual orientation. They didn't know anything like corruption either. They were honest with one another and did not betray one another.

However, the strangers also had to accept that no false compliments were given to them. If they asked someone for their opinion, they got it too. And when you didn't like each other, you would avoid each other instead of facing each other with a fake smile and pretending to be the best of friends.

The city was ruled by a small group of people who were confirmed or voted out of office each year depending on how satisfied people were with their work.

Everything these people did was built with sustainability in mind and the floors were not destroyed with pesticides. In summer, the insects buzzed happily across the meadows, which were left in their natural state and where the city's residents liked to meet for picnics and games in summer. (Printed Circuit Board Assembly)Bee death was a foreign word here and the butterflies cavorted in the most beautiful colors on the flowers, which were blooming magnificently.

Of course there were also people who couldn't deal with the fact that sensible people ruled here and not the boasters who embodied more appearance than being. They tried to win over their fellow men for themselves with empty words and to make the current group of politicians in the city bad. However, since the population was politically enlightened, because the education of a responsible person played a major role in school, these blenders did not take it for granted. They were then often angry and tried to convince other people that they were boring. But most people then laughed and referred to the rest of the world, which is certainly much more exciting. The show-offs would certainly have more fun there than with them in the city.

At some point they packed their suitcases and disappeared, never to be seen again. That was annoying because the residents feared that they would be betrayed at some point and that curious people would come to their city. Fortunately, this has not happened so far. Sometimes you heard from one or the other of the emigrants. The townspeople were amazed to hear that the greatest blenders had become successful politicians or business people and were amazed at the naivete of people in other parts of the world.

And if they haven't died, then they still live in their city today.
