If you don't maintain your plants well enough then they might die. And of course, you don't want that as all your investments will prove to be worthless right?
So what care should you take if you have bought garden plants for sale?
Watering the plants daily
This is something we all know right? We are taught to water the plants daily. But if the job is so simple then why put it here? This is important because the amount of water to give plants is what you should be concerned about.
Water the plants in the right amount daily. Excess amount of watering is also not good for the plant. Get to know how much water do you need for your plants daily from an experienced gardener. Each plant species will require different amounts of water.
Providing sunlight
By providing sunlight we mean that you should not keep your baby plants or small potted plants outside under direct summer sunlight and heat. This will cause them to die very quickly if they are not heat resistant.
So how much sunlight do you have to give your plants and how to control the amount of sunlight coming into your nursery and gardens?
You can do this by having a shade in your garden. If you do not stay at home then you can ask your maid to do it. But make sure that the plants do not receive too much heat.
Tilling the soil
A few months down the line you will have to aerate the soil to ensure that the nutrients get properly mixed in the soil. Soil contains nitrogen-fixing bacteria. These bacteria take up atmospheric nitrogen and convert them into nitrous compounds which are essential nutrients for the plants. This is why tilling the soil is required every few months.
Providing nutrients and fertilizers
Providing fertilizers in the right amount is an extremely important task especially if you want your garden plants for sale to grow. Ensure to buy 100% organic fertilizers and use them in the right proportions.
Removing off the weeds
Weeds and unwanted plants will keep repeatedly growing up and these need to be removed completely off the soil if you don't want your plants to compete with them for food and water.
