Indoor Volleyball Sports Academy

Indoor volleyball clubs in OC is a way for young athletes to learn the skills, mental drive, and love for the game of volleyball. They strive to challenge the athletes to achieve their goals and provide a fun fair environment to learn the game. They are open to all interested players of all ability levels.

They believe the cornerstone of a successful club is the people behind it; therefore, they have assembled a team of accomplished volleyball coaches who are committed to developing successful and well-rounded athletes. They are here to grow slowly and naturally over time with an unyielding commitment to quality over quantity.

As indoor volleyball grows in popularity, clubs with indoor instruction are expanding programming to meet the interests of their athletes. In turn, clubs are finding competing on sand has given their players improved mental stamina, physical endurance, and a deeper love for the game when they return to the hard courts in the fall. In indoor volleyball, athletes are not allowed extended time between points to consult with coaches.

Another key component to indoor volleyball clubs in OC is finesse, a skilled player can incorporate into their indoor games. Indoor volleyball emphasizes power and hitting the ball as hard as possible, while beach volleyball requires using precision to outsmart the opponent. Athletes can also strengthen their physical stamina participating in beach volleyball because they are required to cover more of the court and receive shorter breaks between points.

The goal of their weekend camps is to provide each athlete with a positive, fun-filled learning experience while giving personal attention to help each young athlete improve their basketball skills and fundamentals. Each camp will build upon the prior one so that each athlete will progressively improve their skill set and prepare them to be their best. This is also a great opportunity to come as a team or group of friends and collectively improve your skills, teamwork, and bonding! All camps are appropriate for ages 7-17, according to skill level.

Beginner

This camp is for new players or players with very little playing experience. Players will learn the basics of the game from basic terminology and rules to essential skills like dribbling, layups, pull-up jumpers, and more.

Intermediate

This camp is appropriate for players who have learned the basics of dribbling, layups, and jump shots and have an understanding of the basic rules of the game. Skills to be developed at this camp will progress the player from shooting fundamentals to developing a quicker release, catch and shoot, shooting off the dribble, and more.

Elite

This camp is designed for the club through high school players. The focus will be on making the player a “deceptive” offensive force through advanced footwork, ball-handling, and finishing skills with an emphasis on counter-attack moves.

Their goal is to help each athlete capture untapped potential and translate that to their performance on the court.
