Some of The Best Endorphins Are Massage Endorphins

Endorphins are undoubtedly a wonderful thing in life, they help control pain, improve mood, and provide short-term relaxation. Long-term endorphins are much more beneficial, boosting the body's immune system, helping to reduce disease and kill cancer cells, and even slow aging.

So with all of these benefits of endorphins, a cynical person expects it to be expensive, and if you don't like exercise, it might seem fair. Doing even simple things like walking can release endorphins in your system. But whether you want to work out or maybe not, there is a way that in my opinion is even better than training to get endorphins. Good old fashioned massage!

Now, not all of us have the time or the money to visit a massage therapist, which is sad, but true. But there are many very simple massage techniques that can really be done by an amateur that can cause the release of endorphins.

Shoulder massage.

If you're lucky enough to have someone else selling your massage, a shoulder massage is a great place to start. Step away from the person and place your palms on the back of their shoulders just across the shoulder blades. Wrap your fingers down, circling the top of the shoulder and down, into the collarbone. Extend your thumbs to the spine.

Here is a basic position for a good shoulder massage, you can move both hands along the faces using the same technique I'm going to describe here and it will work fine. A note will be to make sure that you always massage away from the heart because while you are massaging a person's heart, you need to massage according to the pattern that moves to the head. When you massage under the heart, you need to Massage Center Deira according to the pattern that moves to the coccyx.

First, lower your thumbs down along their spine as far as you can move them without moving your hands, then press lightly on the person's back and start sliding your thumbs towards the spine. While doing this, press your palms on the person's back and roll them up to your spine, then upward in combination with your thumbs. Slide your fingers along the collarbone and extend them up to the shoulder, then curl them slightly.

As you twist your fingers, move your palms towards your shoulders, still pressing them on your back, and move your thumbs towards your index fingers (where they will be if you bow). At this point, press your palms down and slide your thumbs down, moving your palms and thumbs along your shoulder blades, with your index fingers sliding into a tucked position over your upper shoulders. Finally, carefully move both hands to the starting position, the movement should complete the circle and you will be where you started. At this point, keep repeating with any speed and force to the person you are massaging, comfortably, do not press too hard or you might get a bruise.

Depending on the quality of your grip, you can use three parts of your hand separately or all together. For example, if you're massaging a person's back, it's usually easier to use just the thumbs than the rest of the fingers. For the middle part of a person's back around heart level, it's usually easier to just press the palms back, using slow circular motions. Do what's right for you.

Nobody around? No problem!

You can start a shoulder massage quite effectively and easily anywhere you have a few minutes. Simply move your hand to the opposite shoulder, place your palm on top of your shoulder, and extend your fingers downward at an angle to your spine. You will probably feel a lumpy muscle under your fingers, this is where you are going to massage. Press your fingers into this muscle with as much pressure as you feel comfortable, then press further down the back, towards the arm, up the shoulder, then onto the spine, and finally back to where you started. This movement around the circle will cause the muscle to relieve tension and endorphins and will feel pretty good.

Earlobe massage bonus!

It may sound strange, but one of the easiest ways to induce a general feeling of relaxation and the release of endorphins is to massage the ears. Whether you are doing it for someone else or for yourself, the approach is the same. Gently grasp the human earlobe, if doing it in front, place your thumb inside the earlobe, as well as the fingertips on the outside. When you are behind them, keep your thumbs on the outside and your index fingers on the inside.

Do not press too hard, it only requires a soft touch. Once in place, gently rub your fingers and thumb up and down in opposite directions, much like the “silver” hand gesture that people sometimes use to rub their thumbs up and down with their fingers to indicate that 'they have a dollar bill in hand. Start at the top of the earlobe, move your fingers together slowly and work your way down to the section of the earlobe that is traditionally the pierced portion. Rub this part, then slowly come back. It might sound weird, but give it a try, it's awesome!
