Get Rid of Carpet Beetles Larvae | How? The Ways!

Carpet beetles are usually a pest that you should be concerned about outside the home, but the infestation can occasionally occur indoors. They love to lay eggs on carpets and other fabrics. Once you have larvae in the house, they can be very harmful and it is best to destroy them. Carpet beetle larvae make holes in the fabric and penetrate any animal products, such as leather or food.

The first sign that you have a problem is that adults try to go outside after laying eggs, so you often see them in windows and other places that go outside. At that point, you need to find out where they lay their eggs and how the larvae feed to destroy them.

Once You Find These Areas You Should

Vacuum frequently and keep all areas clean with carpets and fabrics, including furniture and curtains. Remove nesting clothing or other materials that may feed on larvae. Remove beehives or bird nests around your home, these are warm places to lay eggs. Use bug spray and spray around floorboards and furniture. By doing so, you will destroy fresh eggs, destroy larvae, prevent carpet beetles from having an egg-laying spot, and destroy food sources. At this point, there is no reason for them to want to be inside.

It’s hard to get around them once they start logging in, but it’s not too hard to get rid of them. If you are good at cleaning carpets, furniture, rugs and curtains, you need to get rid of them. If you have a constant problem with carpet beetles, just use a steam sprayer and it should work.

Keep in mind, though, that most people enter from the roof zone or from a place you can easily access. You may not be able to find a real entry point, but as mentioned, if you do your best to get rid of them, you will destroy the perfect environment for them to live and they will no longer want to enter.
