Sakshi Tanwar was born on 12 January 1973. Sakshi Tanwar is an Indian actress. Sakshi Tanwar is known for her work in tv serials especially for Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii as well as Bade Achhe Lagte Hain. Moreover, Sakshi Tanwar played a major role in the Aamir Khan’s movie named Dangal in the year 2016.

Sakshi Tanwar was born on 12 January 1973 in the home of Rajendra Singh Tanwar who is a retired CBI officer. Sakshi Tanwar was born in a middle-class family from Alwar, Rajasthan, India. Sakshi Tanwar got her education in school from many Kendriya Vidyalayas plus she completed her college or graduation from Lady Shri Ram College in New Delhi.

Before this in the year 1990 after completing her pre-university course, Sakshi Tanwar worked as a sales trainee at a five-star hotel as well. Plus in college, Sakshi Tanwar was the secretary as well as president of the dramatic society. Moreover, after her graduation, when Sakshi Tanwar was preparing for the entrance tests of the administrative services and mass communications, she gave an audition for the national broadcaster Doordarshan's film songs based program Albela Sur Mela in the year 1998. Furthermore, she got selected as the presenter as well.

Recently, in the year 2018, Sakshi Tanwar became a single mother when she adopted a nine-month-old baby girl whose name is Dityaa Tanwar. Sakshi Tanwar obtained more fame for her role of Parvati Agarwal in the tv serial named Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii plus between the year 2011 and the year 2014, Sakshi Tanwar played Priya Kapoor with the pair with Ram Kapoor, in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain after the television debut of Sakshi Tanwar in the year 1998 with Albela Sur Mela.

Moreover, in the year 2012 December, Sakshi Tanwar made a second appearance on the reality show named Kaun Banega Crorepati. 

Furthermore, in the year 2016 film named Dangal Sakshi Tanwar played the role of Daya Kaur, who is the wife of former wrestler Mahavir Singh Phogat who trains his daughters to be world-class wrestlers against social odds. Sakshi Tanwar made a comeback on television with Tyohaar Ki Thaali, which was first launched by Epic Channel in the year 2018 February.
