If you are applying for B Tech 2018 admission to top universities in India like NIIT University, then you need to be cognisant of the following eligibility criteria:
- You need over 60% marks in Class 10 in five subjects, with compulsory subjects being English, Science, Math and Social Studies, from CBSE or ICSE or any comparable board in India, and equivalent board form outside India.
- You need 60% marks or above in Class 12 in five subjects, with compulsory subjects being Chemistry, Math, Physics or Biology, and English, from a recognised educational board in India.
- You need 60% marks or above in PCM in Class 12 for CSE or ECE streams, or in PCB or PCM or PCMB in Class 12 if taking BT, and in PCB in Class 12 if taking Integrated MSc CS.
- You should have appeared for the March-April 2018 Board examination.
- You should have the necessary mark sheets if you have appeared for the 2016-2017 Board examination.
- You should have the score for JEE Main or BITSAT/SAT/NEET or any other State-recognised Engineering entrance examination. If not, you must appear in the NIIT University Engineering Test to qualify.
- You will be given admission on predicted score if you are appearing for IGCSE (A Level) or IB or Cambridge exam with minimum five subjects, including Chemistry, Math, Physics and/or Biology.
- You should have a score of Grade 4 or higher in IB Board of at least Grade C in Cambridge IGCSE Board.
