Difference Between Cloud and Saas:

The origin of the term SaaS is a little hazier but appear to date from a white paper shared by the software and information industry association in 2001. Gradually the Avaya unified communication become more prominent, the famous use of the service increased. The service provides sales and customer relationship management to companies via the cloud and a browser. 

Google drive that is a free service includes Gmail and Google Docs is a perfect example of SaaS software. The user doesn’t require to do anything other than a browser and an internet connection to use Avaya unified service. 

Cloud and Saas: Interconnected Services

The cloud and SaaS may seem like similar systems however, they are actually quite different. It might be supportive to think of the cloud as interstate and SaaS as a delivery truck entirely dependent on the interstate to offer services to its customers. Cloud exists independently of the delivery system while the delivery service could not exist without the interstate.
