Coleman Family Murders: Murders which Left Everyone Shocked

Chris Coleman was the head of security for a religious figure and earned six figures. He got married to Sheri Weiss after she got pregnant with their first child. He and his wife moved to the St. Louis suburb of Columbia, Illinois, and resided in a nice 2-story three-bedroom house.

Slowly and gradually, Chris started losing his interest in Sherri and wasn’t really happy with her. But, he couldn’t divorce her because of his workplace regulations. The reason behind it was that his agency had thrown people out because of extramarital affairs and divorce.

Their marital problems start to boil, then Chris and Sheri flew to Florida for some reason. Here, Chris Coleman met Tara, who was Sherri’s best friend from high school. He was interested in her, and they both soon started an affair and began an online long-distance affair. The emails also show that they were about to get married.

Around this time, Chris Coleman got some work email that had threats to kill his family. Not long after, when Chris was in Dubai, a letter went to Chris Coleman’s home, where it was written that if Joyce (the religious preacher) doesn’t stop preaching, his family will be killed. It was reported to the police, but no evidence was eventually found.

On May 4th, 2009, Chris took off. Then, on May 5th, he left his house to go to the gym at 5:30 am. It is told that he called his wife at 6:15, 6:30, and 6:51 am. By this time, he got a little panicky and called his neighbor to check on her. When the neighbor went to the house, he saw some strange writings on the wall which were really gruesome.

The neighbor then decided to go towards the master bedroom, where he found Sherri’s deceased body. It appeared as if someone had strangled her to death. He then went to both of the children’s beds and found that they were killed similarly.

An investigation took place, and it was found out that Chris Coleman was the culprit as 45 minutes is a short period in which three murders can happen. A full investigation took place in this regard. In the investigation, it was found that Chris Coleman was the main culprit behind the Coleman family murders.

It was found that the emails were done from Chris’s office present at the Joyce Meyer ministries from Chris’s mail.

It was later on concluded after the trial that Chris had killed both of his wife and two sons.

Shocking? Isn’t it? Chris Coleman killed his own family so that he can start a whole new life, where all he could have done is to divorce his wife!
