Tienda De CaféK and Ca were the predominant macroelements, and Fe and Mn the predominant microelements. Fe was the least soluble, and Cu, Zn and Na the most soluble. T lymphocytes are recruited into the affected brain areas of RE patients through the CXCR3-CXCL10 axis. We did standard transwell assays using primary human MSCs and found that these cells responded to the chemotactic gradient of human recombinant CXCL10 . The effect was abolished by means of inhibitory antiCXCL10 or antiCXCR3 antibodies.
After approval by the Spanish Medicine Agency, autologous MSCs were prepared under Good Manufacture Procedure conditions as explained elsewhere . MSCs were infused through catheterization of the carotidal right system . The administrations were well tolerated, and no acute or long-term adverse effects were seen after infusions.

Animals infused with GCM had significantly less huntingtin inclusions in the ipsilateral cerebral cortex and in the ipsilateral and contralateral striata than mice infused with cerebrospinal fluid. The numbers of DARPP-32 and TH positive neurons were also greater in the ipsilateral but not contralateral striata and substantia nigra, respectively, suggesting a neuroprotective effect of GCM on efferent striatal and nigro-striatal dopamine neurons. GCM increases activity of the autophagic pathway, as shown by the reduction of autophagic substrate, p-62, and the augmentation of LC3 II, Beclin-1 and LAMP-2 protein levels, direct markers of autophagy, in GCM infused mice. These results suggest that CGM should be further explored as a putative neuroprotective agent in Huntington's disease.
Increasing information on the immunomodulatory capacities of human MSCs have provided grounds for their use in different diseases of immune origin . MSCs activated by IFNγ combined with either Tumour Necrosis Factor or IL-1 , produce chemokines which recruit T cells to the proximity of MSCs. Subsequently, MSCs suppress the proliferation and activity of T cells in their vicinity by expressing Indoleamine 2,3-Dioxygenase . Anti-inflammatory immune cells can further suppress the activity and functions of pro-inflammatory immune cells and subsequently promote tissue repair [10,19-21].

At data cut-off, 777 infusions had been initiated, median treatment duration was 7.8 months (range 0.5–14), and median number of cycles was 6 (range 1–12). The median duration of Isa infusion decreased from 3.6 hr (range 1.5–8.9) at 1st infusion, to 1.9 hr (range 1.3–4.8) at 2nd infusion, to 1.3 hr (range 1.1–3.4 hr) at 3rd infusion, with subsequent infusion durations averaging 1.3 hr (range 0.3–4.7hr). In Part A, the median duration of infusion was 3.7 hr at 1st infusion, 2.8 hr at 2nd infusion, 2.75 hr at 3rd and 2.5 hr at subsequent infusions. Our results suggest that GCM could provide a new therapeutic strategy in HD, but several issues should be solved before GCM can be tested in human patients.
