We may have heard numerous myths about the smartphone battery, like charging the phone through a laptop will damage the battery, one can preserve their battery life by powering off their phone frequently, etc. The battery backup of a phone primarily depends upon the battery capacity like 5000 mAh mobile battery and 2500 mAh mobile battery.  Comparison between these two battery capacities one can have more battery backup in 5000 mAh capacity battery than the latter. • Battery Life Can Be Extended by Powering Off the Device

This is the common myth we have often heard about our smartphone battery. Numerous websites and people advise us that powering off the device can increase battery life. But this myth is false and completely irrational. As the present-day smartphone batteries are made from the lithium-ion compound, these batteries are capable enough to read their battery state irrespective of their charge level. And when someone is not using the device, then the strain on the battery would be the same if you would power it off. Thus, it creates no difference if you power off the device or keep its power on in idle mode.

• If You Charge Your Mobile Through Laptop You Can Damage Your Battery

This is another common myth we have always heard about a 5000 mAh mobile battery. Charging your phone through the computer will not affect its battery life; rather, it is good for the battery life. The more slowly the battery gets charged, the less is the strain on the lithium-ion battery. For these reasons, the OEM batteries always come with a limit on the battery structure and device so that battery does not quickly get charged; rather, it takes some time to get charged.

• You Could Damage Your Phone by Using Unofficial Charger

This myth we have heard about smartphone batteries is true. If we charge our phone using an unofficial charge, then there are high chances that the battery might get damaged quickly. The chargers have different controls that check the amount of current which is delivered and stops the charging in case the battery is fully charged. The official mobile phone chargers have extreme safety settings which ensure that the battery is not damaged while charging or the smartphone. But the unofficial charger does not have such a safe setting and can damage the device as well as the battery.
