How to add your own LoRa node device on Alibaba Cloud IoT platform
Alibaba Cloud provides an Internet of Things platform to improve IoT communication access services. But how do we add our own LoRa node equipment on Alibaba Cloud?
1. Create a product
1. According to the method shown in Figure 1, access to the Internet of Things device access, enter the management console (may need to open the service):

After choosing to enter the management console, select the device management-product-create product path to create a product according to the interface selection method shown in Figure 2.
After clicking the "Create Product" button on Figure 2, the interface shown in Figure 3 will appear. On the interface shown in Figure 3, fill in the product-related information, as shown in Figure 3.
Among them, fill in a name describing your current product at "Product Name", such as RAK5205. The "Network Access Credential" is filled with the name of the network access credentials that you named when you added the network access credentials on Alibaba Cloud. Fill in the remaining parameters as shown in the example in Figure 3. Finally, click Save to successfully create the product.

On the interface in Figure 4, after clicking Add Device, the interface for filling in device information as shown in Figure 5 will appear.

On the interface shown in Figure 5, two pieces of information of the LoRa node device need to be filled in: DevEUI and Pin Code.
If the LoRa node device is a product of RAKwireless, you can scan the QR code on the back of the product as shown in Figure 6 to obtain the information of the two parameters DevEUI and PIN Code.
If the QR code is missing or unclear, or the PINCODE of the label and the PINCODE contained in the QR code are inconsistent, please send an email to lora_fae@rakwireless.com to obtain it again. The corresponding PINCode information needs to be indicated in the email.

After obtaining the information of the two parameters DevEUI and PIN Code, you can complete the device information on the interface shown in Figure 5. Then select the product you just created and fill in the DevEUI and PIN Code of the device. After clicking Confirm, the device will be successfully created and the interface shown in Figure 7 will appear.
Please note here: You need to copy the information of the two parameters JoinEUI and DevEUI shown in Figure 7 and save it. Because, JoinEUI here, you will need to use app_eui (JoinEUI) to set the device later.

After the device is added successfully, as shown in Figure 8, in the device list, you can see that the device is now displayed as "offline".

Figure 8 shows that we have added a LoRa node device to the Alibaba Internet of Things platform. If we want to change the state of Figure 8 to "online", then we need to power on the LoRa node device and set it to the network. Specific steps for LoRa nodes to access the Internet, please look forward to our next article.
